2024 Days of Christmas (9-16)

Our tea advent calendar blog has had to be made into three parts to make sure it contains the maximum amount of useful information for you! Hopefully you are on track with your daily tea, and will a new favourite or two. let us know on our socials which one you are enjoying the most? 

 

Day 9. Harmony Green

Tart with floral highlights, a cleansing and refreshing brew on a green tea base. The perfect harmonious blend of flavours.

Ingredients: Green tea, rosehip pieces & hibiscus petals

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 80°C water

Brew for of 3 minutes

Remove leaves and enjoy.

 

Day 10. Organic Bondi Breakfast 

A firm favourite of many Wildflower customers, Bondi Breakfast combines premium black tea, vanilla bean, rose petals and white tea silver needles for this luxurious twist on a typical breakfast blend. 

Try with a splash of milk, but take that first sip without any sweetener. 

Ingredients: Assam black tea, white silver needle tea, rose petals & vanilla.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of tea / 250mL of 100° water.

Brew for 3 minutes.

Remove leaves, add milk of choice & enjoy.

 

Day 11. Focus Time

Piquant mint with an earthy mineral mouth-feel and a hint of bright citrus. Enjoy the memory-enhancing power of peppermint, gingko and turmeric. Sip this while studying, perfect for the late night cram.

Ingredients: Peppermint, ginkgo leaves, orange, turmeric, pumpkin pieces & safflower petals.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water.

Brew for a minimum of 3 minutes.

Remove leaves and enjoy hot or iced.

 

Day 12. Sunset Brew

Relax and unwind with the Sunset Brew, a caffeine free herb and fruit blend. Perfect for anytime of the day, this lemon, apple & raspberry fruit tea is best served cold, over ice, and garnished with a fresh slice of lemon. Enjoy it this Thursday afternoon, in what is sure to be a last moment of peace before the holiday rush begins. 

Ingredients: Apple pieces, lemon verbena, lemongrass, hibiscus, lemon pieces, raspberry pieces & cornflower petals

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water. 

Brew for 3 minutes. 

Remove leaves and enjoy hot or cold. 

 

Day 13. Organic Genmaicha Green

Japanese Genmaicha is blended with toasted rice kernels, so you get all the grassy sweetness of green Sencha, plus the nutty, popcorn-esque coziness of brown rice. Some green teas can be bitter and sharp, but Genmaicha tea is mellow and warm,

Ingredients: Green tea leaf (steamed), Roasted brown rice, Kukicha twig.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of tea / 250mL of 80° water.

Brew for 3 minutes.

Remove leaves, and enjoy

 

Day 14. Organic Ginger Glow

Our Organic Ginger Glow tisane has all the zesty and warm flavours you savour from a regular Lemongrass and Ginger blend with the added tang of Hibiscus along with the health benefits of Turmeric. A light golden colour, enjoy this tisane any time of the day.

Full of things good for you, take the time to unwind today from the holiday madness while enjoying this tea! 

Ingredients: Lemongrass, ginger, hibiscus, calendula & turmeric

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100° water.

Brew for 2-5 minutes.

Remove leaves and enjoy

 

Day 15. Blueberry Lemon

Delicate white tea, zesty citrus tones, and soft blueberry notes. A boost of bamboo, blueberry, lemon flavor.

Perfect as a little afternoon pick-me-up. Try this tea chilled with extra blueberries and lemon for a fruity, smooth sip. 

Ingredients: White tea, blueberry, bamboo, rosehip, lemon & tangerine

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 80°C water

Brew for of 3 minutes

Remove leaves and enjoy.

 

Day 16. Mulled Cider

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas with a mug of our Mulled Cider blend. Green tea mixed with cinnamon, apple and rose petals give a tea that will make you think of a white Christmas and cold night, as if you were rugged up by a fire enjoying them. Turn the aircon on and enjoy this blend hot with a biscuit or two. 

Ingredients: Green tea, apple pieces, cinnamon, rose petals & safflower petals

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp leaves / 250mL of 80°C water

Brew for 2 minutes

Remove leaves and enjoy hot
