Days of Christmas.... 17-24

The home stretch is here, you're now two-thirds of the way through your advent calendar and I am hoping that you are enjoying every sip. As the busy periods ramps up with the festive season, enjoy a few quiet minutes each day to savour a new blend. Day 17 Vanilla Chai

Spicy with a hint of sweetness, this is one chai that you won’t need to add honey to! We love ours served with a splash of almond milk, but take it your preferred way and enjoy this start to your day. 

Ingredients: Black tea, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, clove, nutmeg & calendula petals.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water.

Brew for 3 minutes.

Remove leaves, add your favourite milk & enjoy.

 

Day 18 Snow Globe

A swirling mix of popped rice, coconut, apples, beets & hibiscus, warm cinnamon and almond notes bring on thoughts of Christmas and winter time. Snow Globe is a blend of joy & flavour, give this blend a shake and brew up a tea storm.

Ingredients: Apple, beet, hibiscus, cinnamon, pineapple, papaya, coconut, almonds, popped rice & cornflower petals.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water.

Brew for 5-10 minutes.

Remove leaves, enjoy hot or iced.

 

Day 19 Golden Sunrise 

A powerhouse of health! This tea combines the high antioxidants of green & white tea, with fruits high in Vitamin C and adds a dose of turmeric for its anti-inflammatory properties. Enjoy this tea at any time of the day for an extra dose of goodness, much needed in the craziness of December! 

Ingredients: White tea, green tea, turmeric, pineapple, apple, rosehips, blackberry, mint, calendula & black pepper

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water

Brew for 3 minutes.

Remove leaves and enjoy

 

Day 20 Organic Bondi Breakfast 

A firm favourite of many Wildflower customers, Bondi Breakfast combines premium black tea, vanilla bean, rose petals and white tea silver needles for this luxurious twist on a typical breakfast blend. 

Try with a splash of milk, but take that first sip without any sweetener. 

Ingredients: Assam black tea, white silver needle tea, rose petals & vanilla.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of tea / 250mL of 100° water.

Brew for 3 minutes.

Remove leaves, add milk of choice & enjoy.

 

Day 21 Organic Genmaicha Green

Japanese Genmaicha is blended with toasted rice kernels, so you get all the grassy sweetness of green Sencha, plus the nutty, popcorn-esque coziness of brown rice. Some green teas can be bitter and sharp, but Genmaicha tea is mellow and warm.

Ingredients: Green tea leaf (steamed), Roasted brown rice, Kukicha twig.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of tea / 250mL of 80° water.

Brew for 3 minutes.

Remove leaves, and enjoy

 

Day 22 Peppermint 

Minty freshness in a cup, with our peppermint tea leaves they can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways. Our favourite ways are, warm after dinner to settle a stomach & chilled over ice with lemon and cucumber as an afternoon mocktail. 

Ingredients: Peppermint leaves

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water.

Brew for 2 minutes.

Remove leaves and enjoy.

Try this iced with lemon and cucumber for a refreshing drink!

 

Day 23 Love Signs 

Blended with love in mind, our Love Signs mix is both sweet and refreshing with its strawberry and lemon myrtle combination on a tart hibiscus base. We love this tea cold, sip it at the end of the long day and enjoy the weekend leading into Christmas! 

Ingredients: Organic hibiscus, rose petals, organic chamomile, organic lemon myrtle & freeze dried strawberries.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1 tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water.

Brew for a minimum of 3 minutes.

Remove leaves and enjoy hot or iced.

Add orange slices or berries for extra sweetness

Try it blended with lemonade and a shot of pink gin for a Sunday cocktail!

 

Day 24 Honeybush Peach 

You’ve made it to the end! Merry Christmas Eve, enjoy this tea with the knowledge that tomorrow is a day for relaxation and rest (hopefully). Double check your gifts are wrapped and under the tree while you sip on this brew. Juicy and fruit driven with a slightly nutty finish, honeybush tea is an up and comer in the international tea world, with it compared to a rooibos tea.

Ingredients: Honeybush, green rooibos, tangerine, peach, marigold petals, calendula petals & sunflower petals.

Recommended Brewing Instructions

1tsp of leaves / 250mL of 100°C water. 

Brew for 3 minutes 

Remove leaves and enjoy.

Try this tea iced! Garnish with a slice of fresh peach for that extra touch.
